For Children At Our 10.30 Service

Welcome! If you are new or visiting, come & see us at our children’s ministry registration desk in the foyer. For children we offer a large range of activities in different age specific programmes that are designed to be exciting, friendly, safe and nurturing. Our quality children’s programmes run concurrently with the church service at 10.30am, so you can drop your children off before the service starts and then collect them again afterwards. During the term we have Gathered Endings when our children all join us in church, as well as other Sundays when our Adventure-Heroes come in for part of the service.

We have a weekly sign in procedure. Please make sure you let us know if your child has any allergies or special requirements, or if your child is having trouble settling.

HOLIDAY WEEKENDS - CHILDREN'S MINISTRY LITE: First Steps (0-3 years) runs in the church lounge. Children aged 3 years - Primary School Year 6 are in church for the first part of the service, and then will have a programme downstairs in the gold room (room on left at bottom of stairs) during the message.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY PRAYER TEAM: Our Children's Ministry Prayer Team pray each day for our children and families. It is so wonderful to feel supported and encouraged through this intentional prayer, and we are very excited with the answers to prayer that our Team have been getting. 

First Steps - Age 0-3 years

Located in the lounge off the foyer in a room within easy reach of the main service. Our aim is to provide a safe, fun and caring environment for these young babies and emerging toddlers. We have a wide variety of toys for them to play with, a simple bible story and follow up activities which takes place at “mat time”. Morning Tea (a plain biscuit and a sipper cup of water) is provided with lots of play time. Our leaders are all police-checked.

You can register your child in person by filling out a registration form which is located outside the First Steps room. You will be given a number which will go up on the screen during the service if you are needed. 

You are most welcome to stay with your child while they are settling in and there is a live video feed from the service so you won't miss a thing.

PARENTS ROOM: For parents with babies aged 0-12 months, we offer a Parents Room, located next to the lounge. A baby change table is located in our disability toilet off the foyer, next to the Library.

Preschool - Age 3 & 4 year olds

Located in the downstairs kindergarten adjacent to the main doors. Our aim is to provide a safe, fun and caring environment for these young children and a place where they love to come. We have a wide variety of activities for children to engage in & direct access to an outside fenced play area.

Your children will begin to learn about their relationship with God, in ways that are simple, creative & fun with a simple bible teaching session and songs and follow up activities which takes place at “mat time”. Morning Tea (cut up fresh fruit) is   provided with lots of play time. In order for each session to run smoothly we have a committed team of leaders & helpers. Our leaders are all police-checked.
